BILL SHEEHY

Bill Sheehy was nearly always a storyteller, only for most of his working life it was called journalism. After a stint in the military and university his writing career began with daily newspapers in various parts of the United States and before retiring included working in radio and television as well as print. A new life began upon retirement; he emigrated to Australia.

Ever the writer and now living in a cottage near the beaches of Queensland, he started to experiment with fiction which he discovered was more fun and far more difficult than writing for newspapers. The magic of creating interesting people and placing them in interesting places with interesting problems to solve is, he found, highly entertaining.

To date, thanks to the London publishing house, Joffe Books, he has more than a dozen novels on his personal bookshelf, some Westerns and others murder mysteries.
