LESLEY GRANT-ADAMSON
Lesley always believed she would write novels. As a child she was a story teller sharing imagined stories, always writing, Her first writing job was editorial assistant on the Muckshifter magazine. This led to a successful career as a newspaper writer and joining the features staff of The Guardian. But the resolve to write fiction has not gone away. When she announced she was leaving the paper the editor took her for lunch and said, “Everyone who leaves The Guardian says they will write a book. They never do.” Since then Lesley has published 15 novels and many short stories.
